Where to see the flowers

West Coast and Namaqua national parks are the traditional hotspots for flower gazing. But that means that you will be sharing the floral display with lots of other visitors. Stellenbosch Golfclub – Ernie Els for Autism Golf Series

The 2020 Els for Autism Series is a string of special one-day tournaments held at some of Southern Africa’s most spectacular golf courses, culminating in the two-day national final at Sun City in November. This weekend, Stellenbosch Golf Club will set the scene for some unmissable family fun and golfing action.

The Carstens and Co Lab at Lionel Smit Studio

The Carstens and Co. Lab is four-part storytelling and live music performance series presented by Arno Carstens, exploring the themes of inspiration and collaboration. This online event will be filmed live at Lionel Smit Studio and broadcast globally.

Coastal Foraging at Romansbaai Estate

Lead by experts from Veld & Sea, participants will be exploring the Gansbaai coastline in search of some of rare, delectable pickings that this rich intertidal zone has to offer. The excursion will culminate in a specially prepared, forage-inspired lunch at Romansbaai Estate.

Whale watching at Grootbos

Each spring marks the return of the Southern Right Whales, from June through to December. Their annual pilgrimage to the sanctuary of Walker Bay, is an event the Grootbos team and guests celebrate every year. Make a weekend of it and take advantage of the Spring Special.
