The Golden Vines Charity Auction combines some of the world’s greatest wines with an initiative aiming to make the world of wine a fairer place. The catalogue, featuring the likes of Liber Pater and Château Margaux, include rarities and money-can’t-buy-experiences from numerous world-renowned fine wine estates and spirit distilleries.

South Africa is represented by way of Lot 70, comprising of owner-signed magnums by Eben Sadie, Hamilton Russell, Vilafonté, Kanonkop, Mullineux & Leeu, Meerlust and Klein Constantia plus a wine experience.

“This is a truly unprecedented coming-together of the world’s greatest wineries to raise funds to encourage diversity in the global wine industry. Seven of South Africa’s most recognised wineries have been invited to join the world’s first growths to proudly support this initiative. An auction of this extreme quality will likely never be repeated again. Please be generous in your support,” notes Mike Ratcliffe from Vilafonté.

The auction opens on Thursday 23 September 2021 and finishes at a dinner at the London club Annabel’s on 7 October 2021.
