Pop Up Farm Shop at Boschendal now open

This week sees the opening of the pop up shop within the Werf Restaurant.  Here, visitors can pick up some of their deli favourites including fresh bread. Customers can also harvest their own veggies and seasonal produce at the shop.

Meal kits around the corner

Next week will see the addition of a selection of ready to cook meals and desserts from Executive Chef Allistair Lawrence. Guests are invited to pick up some estate favourites, while following strict social distancing procedures to keep staff and visitors safe.

Safeguarding livelihoods

Boschendal has also guaranteed every employee’s employment for the remainder of the year. While the property remains closed, Boschendal will pay a tips and commission subsidy to affected staff to ensure no member of staff is financially disadvantaged due to the Covid-19 crisis.

Boschendal supply 6,000 meals weekly to the needy

The team at Boschendal Farm has continued their efforts to support the local community and those in need. They supply almost 6,000 meals per week for those in need in the local community and commit to supporting education in disadvantaged areas, particularly when it comes to hygiene and sanitation in the face of coronavirus.

To date they have supplied, free of charge, to local community projects in collaboration with Pebbles Project: Over 3,00 kg of fresh garden vegetables, 1,000 loaves of bread, 12,000 fresh farm eggs and over 250 children’s activity books.
