Antique, Art & Design fair at Blaauklippen

One of life’s comforts come from objects being rediscovered and appreciated afresh. From 5-7 May the South African Antique, Art & Design Association (SAADA) is hosting its Cape Autumn Fair 2023 at the Blaauwklippen Wine Estate. This bespoke event will feature nine of South Africa’s foremost antique and art dealers, including our own Piér Rabe Antiques, who will showcase new collections in a warm and welcoming setting.

The event highlights include a trio of German folding corkscrews, which date back to the mid-1890s, and are shaped like the legs of ladies from the Gay Nineties era. The Old Corkscrew will present these fascinating items.

Riaan Bolt Antiques will exhibit a vast collection of Linnware ceramics that were produced at Olifantsfontein during the 1940s and 1950s.
