When in doubt, Quench it!

Quench has been delivering drinks directly to homes since 2016 and now also delivers groceries from Woolworths and food from some of the nation’s favourite restaurants. The super app has now expanded into an all-in-one shopping experience and they’re not stopping any time soon.

When it comes to groceries, Quench quickly became South Africa’s preferred premium online shopping platform after partnering with Woolworths at the beginning of the national lockdown in April 2020. “Our customers are also Woolworths customers, so it just makes sense for them to shop on the app. They don’t have to leave the comfort of their homes and they don’t have to worry about safety and hygiene during these times. They just log on, browse and shop,” says Liam McCreedy, Quench founder and chief operating officer.

Quench Munch, the restaurant delivery service, wanted to offer a helping hand to the industry by means of a listing on the app for a fraction of what competitors are taking. Quench Munch now has close to 100 restaurants on the app nationally and looking to expand even further. What makes this so unique, is that you can now get your favourite restaurant’s food to your door. We’re talking Schoon, Asta, Punjab, Basic Bistro, Mastrantonio, Hudsons – to name but a few. Friday nights have never been this convenient.

Quench promises to deliver your groceries on the same day at in-store prices, liquor on-demand when you need it, and real food delivered real fast. It’s absolutely worth the try. The app is free and charges a flat rate of R60 per delivery. Quench operates out of all major urban hubs as well as the Cape Winelands and Garden Route.

“We are working very hard on user experience and making this the best shopping app in terms of quality and product offering,” adds McCreedy. Quench is proudly local and supports local businesses.
