We are entering the last weekend of February and again there is a host of events and happenings to choose from. Catch some great live music shows, pick your own grapes at the Lourensford Harvest or experience swimming, running and riding at the Cross Tri Challenge this weekend in Stellenbosch.
The vines have given the go-ahead and it’s almost time for Lourensford’s annual #HanepootHarvest, a weekend over which members of the public are invited to pick their own hanepoot grapes in Lourensford’s vineyard. Take the family for a day of fun and take your own harvest of juicy, sun-sweetened table grapes home with you.
Guests are advised to bring their own container, comfortable shoes & hat/sunscreen (scissors will be provided).
Join Mark Haze as he pays tribute to one of the music world’s greatest hit-makers and one of his childhood heroes. With songs like ‘Living on a Prayer’, ‘It’s my life’, ‘You give love a bad name’ and ‘Blaze of Glory’, to name but a few, Mark will have audiences of all ages taking a trip down nostalgia lane. In the second act, Mark and his band pay tribute to the classic rock era and the songs that shaped the world of Rock n’ Roll for decades to come from The Beatles, Queen, Deep Purple, Guns & Roses, Pink Floyd, Journey and more.
Join Marriane Wine Estate for a relaxed Sunday afternoon filled with good company, fine wines and the beloved musical stylings of Jakkie Louw.
Swim the pristine waters of the Eikenhof Dam and hit the world-renowned trails of the Grabouw Country Club like never before at the Cross Tri Challenge.
Presented by The Caveman, Conrad Stoltz, seven-time world champion (4 x Xterra, 3 x Cross Triathlon).
