Dress up in your most vivid colours for the festivities at the Cape Town 10’s, don your most brilliant whites for Franschhoek Summer Wines or go for black at the inaugural I Love Stellies rock music festival.


Cape Town 10s @Green Point Common Fields – 31 January to 1 February 

The Cape Town 10s is not just about the sporting action, it is also one big jol featuring some of the country’s biggest and most popular music acts as well as hosting Africa’s largest beer tent. Thousands of fans and squads gather from across the globe to play their favourite sports and to experience the vibe of 10s that is underpinned by fun, friendships, sports and a couple of cold ones.


Ladies Breakfast with Charissa Bosman at Weltevreden – 1 February 2020 

It’s time to take some time out of your busy schedule and spoil yourself to a fun morning with other ladies. Join Visit Stellenbosch for breakfast at Weltevreden Estate with Carissa Bosman from Image Avenue as guest speaker. Included in the morning is a tasty canapé style breakfast, hot and cold beverages and shopping. There be clothing, shoes, leather and jewellery designers showcasing and selling their top tier products.

Summer Concerts In the Garden feat Luna Page @Muratie – 1 February 2020

2020 commemorates Luna Paige’s 21st year in the music industry. Known for her note-steady, sultry and recognisable voice, and as an exemplary songwriter, Luna has been recording and releasing soulful music since 1999. She will be performing a selection of songs from her original collections as well as new songs from her blues tribute show, accompanied by Schalk Joubert on bass guitar, Michael Bester on guitars and Tim Rankin on drums.


Franschhoek Summer Wines@ Leopard’s Leap – 1 February 2020

It’s the height of Summer and you’re looking for an excuse to dress up in your elegant (and stylish) white attire, but nowhere to go. Why not join the Franschhoek Vignerons at this year’s Franschhoek Summer Wines for a spectacular garden party. The date is set for Saturday, 1 February at the beautiful Leopard’s Leap Family Vineyards (12pm to 5pm). The winemakers will be showcasing their choices for Summer, which include white, rosé, Méthode Cap Classique and lighter styled red wines.


Shirley Bassey – Diamonds are Forever@Oude Libertas Amphitheatre – 1 Feb 2020

Anna Davel (vocal) & Jaconell Mouton (piano) “Diamonds are forever” celebrates the incredible songs that Bassey recorded throughout her live. Join SAMA award-winning songstress Anna Davel and Ghoema award-winning music producer Jaconell Mouton in this joyous and soulful production of their personal highlights of Shirley Bassey’s career. The audience can look forward to acoustic piano and vocal arrangements of some of her greatest hits.

I love Stellies Music Festival @Van der Stel – 1 to 2 February 2020

The inaugural I Love Stellies Festival hosts a jam-packed music line-up, comedy, entertainment and festivities.

Check out the the I Love Market which hosts over 70 stalls on the festival site. The festival festivities include a foam party, fat-suit fighting and dunk-a-celeb for charity. The music line up features popular acts such as Fokofpolisiekar, Willim Welsyn, Kontras, AKING, PHFAT, Runaway Nuns, Red Sheel, Lat Patrollie, The Valley, Jeandre Swanepoel, Atomic Drive and more.


Swing the France @Oude Libertas – 2 February 2020
