RUNNING
Spring Trail Run @ Knorhoek Wine Farm – 1 September 2019
Celebrate spring on the beautiful trails in the Simonsberg Conservancy and enjoy singletrack heaven on the slopes of Simonsberg. Climbing in the forest just above the cellar with various trails bringing you back to the finish, these are not easy routes, but worth it for the views and the chance to experience singletrack sections not normally open to the public.

Chocolate Festival @ The Woodmill – 31 August to 1 September 2019
Heaven for any sweet tooth fanatic, this two-day chocolate extravaganza will take place over the weekend of 31 August and 1 September 2019 (10am to 4pm daily) at The Woodmill in Stellenbosch.
Expect to find a chocolate line up of gastronomical proportions. Featuring chocolate, macaroons, decadent chocolate brownies, indulgent donuts, deliciously creamy (and dreamy) ice-cream, liquorice, marshmallows, candyfloss, artisanal gems and more. Plus a line-up of top chocolatiers, pastry chefs, cake and sugar-craft artists. There’s no end in sight for the sweetness overload at this event.

The Truffula Trees @ Playhouse Theatre – 31 August 2019
FanTAPstic Tap Dancing Studio (under the direction of Marelize Theron) presents: “The Truffula Trees and Their Keeper ” – A Tap Dance Extravaganza for the whole family that brings Dr Seuss’ classic The Lorax to The Playhouse Theatre. This mesmerizing dance production is sure to have you and the little ones enthralled from beginning to end.

Make-up Workshop @ Grande Provence – 31 August 2019
Women’s Month at Grande Provence will culminate with an insightful make-up workshop on Saturday, 31 August with special guest Minki van der Westhuizen and Marilize de Clerq who will give their best advice about fashion trends and personal styling. Reopening Market @ Lourensford Market – 1 September 2019
Join Lourensford at their season reopening market and celebrate Spring day outdoors surrounded by the award-winning Lourensford Estate gardens. Bring your loved one, family, friends or even your four-legged kids. Great quality food, a variety of artisan goods stalls and live entertainment. The market will be open on Sunday, the 1st of September from 10:00 – 15:00.
Entrance to the market is free and all dogs on leashes are welcome.
The Lourensford Market is open on Fridays from 17:00 – 21:00 and Sundays from 10:00 – 15:00 in season (September – May).
