Aidan Martin is a musician, songwriter and producer based in Cape town, South Africa. He has released two full length albums “Inside Out” and “Refugee”, His playing is spirited, tasteful and has a fresh vibrancy both in his solos and riffs. Live and on record you can expect a versatile coherent ensemble that translates into a powerful electrifying Blues, Rock, Psychedelic and African style experience. Stripped down to an acoustic guitar, harmonica, slide and vocals Martin delivers raw and soulful renditions of his repertoire as well as songs which have inspired him over the years.
He’ll be joined by veteran drummer Jorik Pienaar (Not My Dog, Albert Frost, Wisdom Of Movement) who gracefully showcases his talent on the 5-string Ukulele Bass while keeping his feet busy on the drum kit.

Go for a walk and learn how to use your camera, learning photography and celebrating nature. Helderberg Nature Reserve is the perfect place to learn for those passionate about photography and the great outdoors.
The objective is to go over the basics with practical examples, spending time thinking about what makes a great photo with the subject being the nature reserve. By the end of this workshop participants will elect their best picture to be processed and printed. This will feature on an exhibition in the reserve. Photos can be collected 2 weeks later at the Visitor Centre.
The 10th edition of the Staalwater MTB Challenge will take place from The Caledon Casino, Hotel, Spa and Entertainment on Saturday, 17th of August 2019. We will remain to the one day only option with route options for the whole family; 15km, 35km and 60km route option. The Trail Run will also take place on the same day with the options of 7km and 15km.
The late August date coincides with vast fields of yellow canola blossoms and lush green wheat fields, making for a visual feast not to be missed.
