Planning to get your summer rolling with a training plan and a health kick? The Cape Winelands offer a wide variety of events and races to sign up and train for. Here are five of the most popular in our region.

MARATHON

Cape Winelands Marathon @Eikestad Primary – 9 November 2019

TRAIL RUN

Scorpio Trail Run @ L`Avenir Wine Estate – 10 November 2019

This event plays out on a fast course between the vineyards with great views and beautiful Wineland scenery. The long routes also use the neighbouring farm of Nooitgedacht terrain, so you’ll get some singletrack in the forest, jeeptrack through the vineyards and winding roads between the orchards. Relax on the lawns at the dam after the event and perhaps sip some of the Estate’s Cap Classique Rose or Brut to reward yourself. Runners will be timed with an Amarider Trail Tag and timing data will be streamed live on www.trailtag.coza . If you have a Trail Tag from previous events, please bring it along to registration.
