ABOUT THE TALKS
Dr Janey Little, renowned holistic cancer practitioner, speaker and author of Cancer … You Can Heal Yourself, will co-host interactive talks alongside 10 cancer survivors and a handful of experts at the estate over 15 Monday nights. With a background in conventional veterinary medicine and 22 years experience in the UK and South Africa, Dr Janey is known for conducting talks, workshops and private consultations with cancer patients around the world.
One of Dr Janey’s philosophies to overcome cancer is to change your approach or view of it, it’s essentially a paradigm shift. Once that is done, fear is gone and hope and healing can occur. During the talks, Dr Janey will share powerful and comprehensive informaton from her ‘You are the Cure! Holistic Healing’ Program.
Each talk will be combined with a creative and delicious “Longridge Live Well” meal designed every week by resident chef Maritz Jacobs.
“This series is something close to our heart here at Longridge,” shares organiser Sally Raats. “We, like many people, know friends, family and even staff that are fighting cancer at present. After meeting Dr Janey through a cancer survivor and reading her book we knew this was something that needed to be shared. Our hope is that people will walk away each night empowered by what they have learned.”
She added: “People can come for the talk on its own or pair it with the Live Well dinner either before or after. Each dinner is carefully designed by Maritz in consultation with Dr Janey to be reflective of the principals that participants will learn at the three talks that focus on cancer healing and food.”
