Whether he likes the classic combo of steak and beer, or something a bit more unctuous like venison paired with Shiraz, make sure dad is the man and gets his favourite this Sunday.
STEAK AND BEER
Make Dad the darling this Father’s Day at The Hussar Grill
Fine steak and artisanal beer are a match made in epicurean heaven. Which is why The Hussar Grill has paired sumptuous cuts of meat with a complimentary craft brew as a Father’s Day special on June 2019. Treat your Dad to this taste experience – his main meal will come complete with a well-crafted 300ml Darling Brew, on the house.
Should your Dad wish to chase his beer with a glass of wine, there is an award-winning wine list to tempt him. Alternatively, guests are most welcome to bring their own wines to enjoy with their meal, and no corkage fee is charged at any of The Hussar Grill restaurants.
As for atmosphere, The Hussar Grill is the perfect backdrop for a family celebration, with its beautifully appointed interior, crisp white table cloths and complimentary snacks on arrival. The warm ambiance and perennially excellent food have become The Hussar Grill legends – the award-winning grill rooms have been in operation for over 55 years, making them a sure choice for Father’s Day.
In addition to the much-loved, regular a la carte offering, The Hussar Grill restaurants nationwide will be offering the option of a set menu on request especially for Father’s Day, which can be arranged for you in advance.
Join De Warenmarkt from the 15th to the 17th of June for an event that oyster-lovers cannot miss. There will be plates full of fresh Saldanha oysters, garnished or prepared in various classical dishes.
The charming folks at Dewarenmarkt are hosting an Oyster Fest this weekend. If you’re anywhere in, near, or within driving distance of Stellenbosch on those two days, then we suggest you make a booking on the double. Taste all things oyster-related while enjoying live music, Simonsig Kaapse Vonkel and wine & oyster pairings at the Father’s Day Oyster Brunch on 16 June.
