Musiek-en-Liriek: 40 Jaar Later @ Spier Amfiteater – 8 Maart 2019

After 2 sold out shows in 2018, they are doing it again at Woordfees 2019! Book at Computicket. ‘Satisfaction’ and ‘Rehab’ are some of the new songs on the line up.

The 27 Club is inspired by musicians Amy Winehouse, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain (Nirvana), Brian Jones (The Rolling Stones), Janis Joplin and Jim Morrison (The Doors), who had a big influence on the music world, but all tragically passed away at the young age of 27.

Hacks @ Helderberg Nature Reserve – 9 March 2019

Hacks take place on the second Saturday of every month. Start is at 08:00. During summer months however it starts at 7:30 to beat the heat of the day. Vegetation clearing goes on for about two and a half hours including a short break.

For those who wish to protect their hands some gardening gloves or something similar would be advisable. Bring some water or cold drinks, and if you wish, a bite to eat. Refreshments are supplied during a “tea break”. From time to time, a bit of socialising in the form of a braai after the hack as a thank-you for everyone’s efforts.
